Jonas Fischer

Growing up in Zürich, Switzerland, Jonas and his brother made films together as children until they upgraded their hobby into a career and co-founded the award-winning Swiss production company Dynamic Frame. Jonas' fascination for cinematography and narrative film motivated him to move to Los Angeles in 2018 where he completed his cinematography degree at the AFI Conservatory. He is currently working between Zürich and Los Angeles. This past year he's finished shooting his first feature film called AFRICAN GIANTS that is set to release in early 2023.

He has lensed numerous shorts, including MASS AVE, which won the DGA Student Award, and was a finalist at the ABFF HBO Competition, and THE AFFRONT, which won the esteemed Zurich Film Prize. In addition to narrative and music video work, Jonas has shot a multitude of commercials for international clients like McDonalds, Ikea and Mercedes, for the latter of which he found himself in a backwards nose dive aboard a small plane to catch a skydiving sequence.
